The Rt. Rev. Joseph M. Harte, AZ founded Episcopalians for Life, the precursor to Anglicans for Life.

The National Organization of Episcopalians for Life (NOEL) Articles of Incorporation are adopted and the first board of directors convened.

1996

NOEL headquarters moved to St. Stephen’s Church in Sewickley, PA.

Georgette Forney is hired as the Executive Director of NOEL.

Declaration of Life statement adopted and NOEL received the 501 (c)3 status.

2006

NOEL changes the ministry name to Anglicans For Life.

2009

Lobbied the ACNA to include the Sanctity of Life Declaration in the founding Canons (unanimously approved).

AFL published the first adult education program.

2014

Planted the Canadian Division of AFL.

Held the first Life SUMMIT event in Virginia.
