Each week AFL posts an Anglicans in Action video, which gives practical suggestions, resources, and ideas for life-ministry. This week’s focus is the Baby Chris project. You can see all the Anglicans in Action videos on our YouTube Channel.

We are featuring an exciting new endeavor called Baby Chris! This project has been a joint project of a coalition of national pro-life groups, urging people to observe March 25th as the “Day of the Unborn Child,” and then to journey through the nine months of pregnancy, until Christmas Day, with prayer, outreach, and education, so that people may learn about the development of the unborn child.

Starting next Monday, you can start the journey by downloading the app called “See Baby” or follow on the website.

We encourage you to connect with these resources and join us on the 9-month journey of watching a baby develop in real-time. You can share periodical updates on your social media, too!

Psalm 139:13-16 says: “For you created my inmost being, you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place when I was woven together in the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be.”

Scripturally, we know that life begins in our mother’s womb – and the cool thing is, science only validates that!

With each week of pregnancy, basic fetal development facts are shared. During this nine-month journey, we will provide you with resources for education, social media, and prayer. We want the whole country to see the baby in the womb, our youngest neighbor. By seeing these children and knowing more about their development, people can see more clearly that these are our brothers and sisters and need to be protected and cherished. The root of the abortion epidemic is not a political issue or an issue of women’s rights – rather, it’s an issue of personhood. Our prayer is that this project would bring to light the development of unborn children, showing their unique design from the moment of conception.

Please share the Baby Chris project with your pro-life groups, your pastor, and friends and family.

March 25 marks the launch of the project and the beginning of life for Baby Chris, and we hope you will join us in the journey.

Words Matter in Advocating

Words matter. This article reminds us of the importance of words. When we use the
wrong words to describe a despicable action, people can be fooled into thinking
they support something good, when in reality if you support “reproductive
freedom” and “reproductive rights,” you are supporting the dismemberment
or poisoning of an unborn baby in the safety of the womb.
