The Rev. Canon Georgette Forney
President
The Rev. Canon Georgette Forney has been the President of Anglicans for Life since 1998, and is the co-founder of the Silent No More Awareness Campaign. Canon Forney has authored two educational curricula, including Embrace the Journey that addresses aging and dying issues. Georgette was ordained in 2014 as a Permanent Vocational Deacon in the Jurisdiction of the Armed Forces and Chaplaincy of the Anglican Church in North America.

She has spoken at many CPC banquets, pro-life conferences, conventions, churches, rallies, and university and college campuses. She served as the host for the television infomercial “Tilly.” In addition, she has addressed the Pro-Life Caucus of the U.S. House of Representatives concerning abortion and women and gave testimony at the Senate Commerce sub-committee on Science, Technology and Space Hearing, and at the US House Energy & Commerce Health Subcommittee, regarding the impact of abortion on women’s health in February 2020. She has done numerous print, radio and television interviews for local, syndicated and national shows, papers and magazines. She also serves as the facilitator for the Abortion Recovery Coalition.
Georgette lives in Freedom, Pennsylvania, with her husband of over 42 years; their daughter, Rebekah, designs leather accessories in New York.
