Psalm 8:2

Through the praise of children and infants you have established a stronghold against your enemies, to silence the foe and the avenger.

“Out of the mouth of babies and infants, you have established strength because of your foes, to still the enemy and the avenger.”
Overcoming strength is often veiled in weakness. A good example of this is the obedient submission of Jesus Christ to his Father, seen in his willingness to become a human being for humanity’s sake, his freedom from self-interest and his willingness to serve others.
Note the contrast between the weak and the strong in this verse. However, because of God whose praise they sing, the weak silence the powerful. In contrast to human strength, God is the source and supplier of all spiritual strength through which believers can do all that God asks.

Throughout Scripture God protects and uses the weak to confound and overcome those in opposition to God’s plans and purposes.
God’s sustaining power of His creation is giving us time to repent of our sins and return to the Lord. God has given us the responsibility to treat human life as a divine gift and to value it from conception to natural death.
