Together Let’s Show the World What the Church Can Do for Life!
You and your church are invited to participate in the fourth annual World’s Largest Baby Shower! Over the past three years, churches across the country have generously organized “baby showers” and donation drives benefiting local pregnancy centers and moms facing new, unplanned, and crisis pregnancies. While your church can organize your baby shower at any time during the year, AFL tallies up the totals every July for the year.
This event is a wonderful way to build relationships with pregnancy centers in your community, and get youth involved with Life-Affirming ministry.
How to participate:
- Pick a donation deadline between April and June.
- Download the promotional content on this webpage.
- Post announcements and flyers for parishioners about the items you wish to collect, such as, diapers, formula, clothing, car seats, blankets, strollers, and baby gear like pacifiers, bibs, and bottles.
- Set-up a crib, bassinet, or playpen to gather the donated items.
- Take a few pictures of the goods, inventory the items, and send the inventory list and pictures to info@AnglicansForLife.org.
- Deliver the supplies to your local pregnancy center or mother facing an unplanned, crisis, or new pregnancy.
