This website was created by mothers who feel hurt by the adoption industry during the 1960s. AFL believes that it is not representative of today's adoption procedures, but it is an honest web site to help those who have been hurt in the adoption process.
Membership in IASP is open to scientists, physicians, dentists, psychologists, nurses, physical therapists, and other health professionals actively engaged in pain research and to those who have special interest in the diagnosis and treatment of pain.
The American Pain Society is a multidisciplinary community that brings together a diverse group of scientists, clinicians and other professionals to increase the knowledge of pain and transform public policy and clinical practice to reduce pain-related suffering.
